The best compact wagon in the market by Sol on 04/28/2009. Trim: 2007 Volvo V50 T5, Owned 2 years.

Pros: Quick acceleration, potent brakes, very comfortable seats, excellent drving position, modern styling, up to 33.5 MPG in highway driving, SUV-like utility
Cons: Interior aluminum finishes prone to marks and dings, about only 19.8 MPG in city driving
Overall review: The V50 T5 is able to outperform with Audi, BMW and MB competing vehicles. It has a strong engine and handles very well. T-tec seats are not as hot as the leather seats under the sun. This wagon is absolutely stable at 125 MPH. It displays no hesitation and its brakes are excellent at stopping the wagon from triple digits speeds. Its price undercuts the competition and the vehicle seems designed to last forever.
