Not Perfect but very close to it! by Frank M on 11/30/2012. Trim: 2010 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited 4X4, Owned 2 years.
Pros: Having a 6 or 7 passenger SUV with Highway MPG of 24 to 33 is great. It is very quite even with the TOYO tires and 19 inch rims. Also love the fact that it has a full size exact rim spare tire. You'll need that in the tire rotation that way you can get 40,000 miles out the TOYO tires. But at the end you will need to buy 5 tires instead of 4!
Cons: The HEV system only allows you to use 33% of the battery capacity. The in car information center shows that the battery is fully charged but in fact it is only 75% charged and at 42% it shows it is empty. I wish there was a way to increase that to 40 or 50% instead of the 33%. 17.2 gallon fuel tank is just too small. The most I have been able to drive on one tank is only 475miles and had to put in 16.5 Gallons
Overall review: Great SUV had a great time going 4X4 in Sedona Arizona with it. Loved the look on the faces of the Jeep owners as I drove on the same trails as they did and still got 24MPG! A 21 Gallon Fuel tank would give the car the range it should have
