The all-new 2010 Toyota 4Runner features a new design that is taller, wider and longer than its predecessor and is powered by a new 4.0-liter V6 engine combined with a 5-speed ECT-i automatic transmission. The new 4.0-liter V6 produces 270 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque; 34 horsepower more than the previous V6 and 10 horsepower more than the previously optional V8 engine. Fuel economy improves to an EPA estimated 17/23 city/hwy mpg with 2-wheel drive and 17/22 city/hwy mpg for the 4X4 version.
