2013 Subaru Outback

The 2013 Outback 2.5 trims receive a new double-overhead-cam 2.5-liter FB series boxer engine paired with an improved continuously variable transmission for increased performance and fuel efficiency. The new engine produces 173 horsepower and 174 lb-ft of torque, compared to 170 horsepower and 170 lb-ft of the previous engine. The 3.6R trims continue with a 3.6-liter 256-horsepower 6-cylinder boxer engine and 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission. All Subaru trims get a restyled front end, with new headlights, grille, front bumper and fog lights for a more powerful appearance. Numerous enhancements to the body structure, suspension and steering give the Outback a smoother and quieter ride for 2013, while also helping increase handling agility. The 2013 Subaru also offers new amenities and audio and infotainment capabilities.
