Later years and mileage bring problems by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/04/2012. Trim: 2001 Subaru Outback H6-3.0 L.L.Bean Edition, Owned more than 10 years.
Pros: Handled very well. Felt safe.
Cons: Became a cost early on-first 50K miles with front brake pads--replaced about every 20k miles. At 120K transmission went bad. Guel pump. Subaru replacement parts are expensive.
Overall review: Did well for 9 years
