GM's G6 home run! by Me on 04/04/2008. Trim: 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP Coupe, Owned 1 year.

Pros: This car is FAST. With 240hp, 240torque you're never too far from the thrill of acceleration. Just plant your right foot and that's it. I like the tap shift , although I'd rather the 6 spd manual tranny. This car gets TONs of looks. The engine sounds great, and the exhaust note sticks out.
Cons: I wish the 6spd manual was easier to find, but that's fine, tap shift is still lots of fun. Better mpg would be nice, . . ohh wait, that's what K&N air filters are for :-)
Overall review: The "experts" can shove it! This car is just as good, if not better than Accord, Camry, & Altima in the corners, and definitely better in a straight line acceleration. For someone who isn't the a speed junkie like me, the GT Coupe still looks great, better mpg too. If you're in the market, take a second look at Pontiac before listening to what the "experts" have to say!
