2000 Mitsubishi Montero Sport

Front and rear styling is revised for 2000, including a new grille, front bumper, fog lights, body molding and taillights. The four-cylinder engine has been dropped, so all models get V6 power, with the top-of-the-line Montero Sport Limited now sharing the 200-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 that's also in the larger Mitsubishi Montero. Inside, the Montero Sport gets improved seats, front cupholders are moved to the center console area, and an immobilizer is added to the ignition key.
