New for 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK

The 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLK remains primarily unchanged for the new model year, having just been refreshed last year. Mercedes will offer a limited-production SLK300 Diamond White edition for 2010. This special-edition SLK features Diamond White metallic paint and a two-tone interior with high-contrast “baseball” upholstery stitching. Less than 100 of the SLK Diamond White editions will be offered in the U.S., and will feature special standard equipment that includes sport suspension, steering-wheel shift paddles and 18-inch AMG alloy wheels.

Short Take

This roadster features a folding hard-top and a strong 3.5-liter V6. The manual shifter and clutch are more user-friendly than in the first-generation SLK. Handling is more agile than the previous version, and the ride is relatively comfortable.Reliability has been average.
