Car with some issues by Patty from florida on 08/06/2008. Trim: 2000 Mazda 626 LX, Owned 8 years.

Pros: Still looks good even after 8 years and 130,000 miles. I purchased this car new in 2000.

Cons: The brakes have been a constant and irritating problem, they squeek when you back up and if it rains. I have put the best brakes available doesn't make a difference. Mazda has said its because of the way brake pads are made now. I've had wheel bearings go out 3 times had a new drive shaft at 3000 miles. most of this was under warranty. I also had the license plate trim fall off. No problems with my transmission as others have. Starting to have a/c problems now.

Overall review: This is my 4th mazda I've owned at this point I'm not planning on buying another. I had very good luck with the others but this is the only 1 made by ford.
