The 2012 MINI Roadster is a new 2-seat open-top model that takes the signature MINI design elements to create a compact roadster. The MINI Cooper Roadster is powered by a 121-horsepower 1.6-liter engine and the Cooper S Roadster offers a 181-horsepower version with a twin-scroll turbocharger and direct injection. The John Cooper Works Roadster bumps the power to 208 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque from the turbo engine. The unique silhouette of the MINI Roadster incorporates a steeply raked windshield, low roofline profile and an active rear spoiler.

Pros: Styling.
Cons: At night the instruments light up like a circus. Rattles.
Overall review: Great marketing but the car does not back it up with its average quality.
