The 2012 Land Rover LR4t adds a revised touch-screen navigation system with voice activation and the top audio system is now an 825-watt Harman/Kardon Logic 7 with 17 speakers. The revised rear-seat entertainment system includes WhiteFire wireless headphones. A new compact Smart Key fob is smaller than the previous version but retains all the functions. New 19-inch and 20-inch wheel designs are added.

The LR4 retains its traditional off-road ability and is able to traverse rough terrain easily. Handling is not a strong suit but is ultimately secure. Controls can be confusing.
