2012 Honda Insight

The 2012 Honda Insight receives new exterior styling, an enhanced interior, additional features on select models and an EPA fuel-economy rating improvement of 1 mpg. Exterior changes include a more distinctive grille design, restyled front and rear bumpers, and changes under the vehicle that contribute to a 2 percent increase in aerodynamic performance. Insight base and Insight LX trims have new 15-inch wheel covers and the Insight EX gets newly styled 15-inch alloy wheels. Interior upgrades include greater rear seat leg and head room; a redesigned gauge cluster; reshaped center-console beverage holders; and improved noise-insulation materials in the cargo area. The LX trim receives new premium seat fabric along with map lights and steering-wheel audio controls, while the Insight EX is upholstered with a combination of premium fabric and synthetic leather, and gains Bluetooth, automatic headlights and a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob. New exterior colors include Frosted Silver Metallic and Truffle Pearl.
