My HONDA coupe: setting the bar way up there............
by An MSN Autos Consumer on 04/30/2012.
Trim: 2006 Honda Accord EX Coupe w/ Leather and XM Radio, Owned 7 years.

Pros:
2006 Honda Accord V-6 6M (manual transmission with swung clutch pedal): reliable: purchased new; only window regulators and an oil sensing (VTEC) solenoid in over 100,000 miles..... Fuel efficient: In 65 per cent highway/35 city the MPG is a constant 27-39 (winter fuel lowers fuel efficiency numbers)....... Swift: 0-60 reported by various sources as 5.8/5.9 seconds; QM seems constant at 14.5.
Quiet on the freeway (but not so silent with the VTEC shift near 5,000 RPM on a long freeway on ramp high speed traffic merge.
Cons:
About the only negative is the lack of clutch engagement feel due to the use of a slave cylinder check valve. The timing belt replacement cost may reduce $$$ levels at the 105,000 mark. This - combined with water pump, coolant, cam/crank seals, pulleys and serpentine belt replacement can run anywhere from $500 to $1500 depending on the choice of repair facility.
Overall review:
Easily the best car I've ever owned - - using reliability, fuel efficiency, performance and cost per mile criteria...............
