2013 BMW M5

The BMW M5 returns to the BMW lineup for the 2013 model year with new features and more power. The previous-generation’s V10 is dropped in favor of a more powerful twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 producing an impressive 560 horsepower. Teamed with either a 6-speed manual or 7-speed M Double-Clutch transmission, the new M5 can reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 4.4 seconds on its way to a top speed of 190 mph. While engine power is increased by 10 percent, fuel consumption has been decreased by more than 30 percent. The M5 stands out from a common 5-Series with a unique front apron with large air intakes, flared wheel arches, rear lip spoiler and the customary four exhaust outlets. The 19-inch light alloy wheels and massive brakes complete the look.
