The Ultimate Sleeper by Bryan on 02/06/2009. Trim: 2001 BMW 5-Series 540i 6-speed, Owned 5 years.

Pros: Power is wonderful, and the smoothest I have ever driven, Corvette included. The power is immediate, and an endless supply of torque. The engine torque alows you to pull through almost any gear at any speed. There is almost no body roll. Then there is the driver feedback from the car that only BMW has, and Benz wishes they had. The only other car I would rather have is the E39 M5.

Cons: I only flaw is the stinking useless cupholders. After market holders from Bavarian AutoSport takes care of that though.

Overall review: If you drive this car,and it is properly maintained, you will buy it. It is that good. In my opinion, the second best car BMW has ever made. The first is the E39 M5. That includes the new body style and M5. I think that car is too big. This car is that good.
