The Santa Fe is Hyundai’s midsize SUV that was designed by the Korean automaker specifically for the North American market. Redesigned for the 2007 model year, the Santa Fe is about seven inches longer than its predecessor, one inch wider and almost two inches taller with a 2.9-inch wider track. The Santa Fe joined the Hyundai lineup for the 2001 model year, the interior was updated during the 2002 model year, and front-seat airbags were added at the start of the 2003 model year.
