IntroductionThe A6 is Audi’s premium midsize sedan that first debuted as a 1995 model, replacing the Audi 100. In 1998, the A6 redesigned with a sleek, sporty new body. In 2000, A6’s performance was upgraded with the addition of the twin-turbo 2.7-liter V6 and the 4.2-liter V8 to the A6 lineup. Completely redesigned for the 2005 model year, the A6 received new styling inside and out, two powerful engines, a 6-speed automatic transmission and a number of new technologies.
