The Focus is Ford's compact car that is redesigned for 2012. The Focus was first introduced in 1998 in Europe and came to the U.S. for the 2000 model year. Previous versions of the Focus have received design and performance changes tailored for the U.S. market. The 2012 Focus will be sold in both 5-door hatchback and 4-door sedan versions, and under the One Ford initiative, the Focus sold in the U.S. will be the same as the Focus sold in Europe and other world markets. The high-performance ST trim was added to the Focus lineup in 2013.
