The Sequoia is Toyota's full-size sport-utility vehicle that was added to the lineup for the 2001 model year between the midsize 4Runner and premium, full-size Land Cruiser. Developed, designed and built for the American market, Sequoia is larger and roomier than Land Cruiser, and complements Toyota's SUV lineup with the size, performance, features and pricing that American families once demanded. The second-generation Sequoia debuted for 2008 and while it is larger than its predecessor, it is almost 12 percent more fuel efficient.
