The Camry Hybrid is the gasoline-electric hybrid version of Toyota’s midsize sedan which debuted as a 2007 model and is redesigned for 2012 with a new version of Toyota’s Hybrid Synergy Drive system. Equipped with Toyota's Hybrid Synergy Drive system, Camry Hybrid is powered by a gasoline engine, electric motor or both and is certified as an Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV). The Camry was first introduced in 1983 and the first U.S.-built Camry was produced in 1988.
