The Outlander Sport is Mitsubishi’s new compact 5-passenger crossover that joins the lineup for the 2011 model year. Based on the same platform as the Outlander, the Outlander Sport is more than a foot shorter than the Outlander which has grown enough to offer 7-passenger seating. The Outlander Sport features a completely new exterior design that includes Mitsubishi’s jet fighter front fascia from the Lancer Evolution, a high beltline and an integrated rear spoiler.
