The Eclipse is Mitsubishi’s sporty coupe and convertible that received updated styling for 2009 to link the appearance more closely with the look of the high-performance Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution. For 2011 the Eclipse Coupe received a blacked-out roof. The Eclipse Coupe was redesigned for 2006 with bold new styling and more powerful engines. The Eclipse Spyder rejoined the lineup for the 2007 model year. The new look was first revealed by the Eclipse Concept-E at the 2004 North American International Auto Show.
