The E-Class Wagon is Mercedes-Benz’s midsize wagon which returned to the model lineup for the 2011 model year. The fifth-generation E-Class Wagon features standard 4Matic all-wheel drive and a third-row seat that unfolds from the luggage compartment. Safety equipment includes Attention Assist system that can alert the driver at the first signs of drowsiness, Active Lane Keeping Assist and other innovative safety features. Now available with up to 11 airbags for front and side protection, the 1998 E-Class Wagon offered the first front door-mounted side airbags.
