Introduction
Introduced for the 2008 model year, Lexus’ new flagship is the LS 600h L hybrid luxury sedan and a cousin of the gasoline-only LS 460. As the world’s first vehicle to feature a full hybrid V8 powertrain, it is capable of operating in electric-only mode or with a combination of the gas engine and electric motor. The full-time four-wheel-drive system is complemented by a new suspension for responsive handling. Using the L-finesse styling philosophy, the LS 600h L is styled to reveal a family resemblance to other Lexus sedans with emphasis on elegance and refinement. The interior offers the highest level of comfort and convenience equipment among all LS models complemented by a list of standard technological features.
