The Compass is Jeep’s compact SUV that was redesigned for the 2011 model year with a new look that includes design cues from the Grand Cherokee. The new Compass features a new hood, new front fenders, new fascia and new headlights and a new grille. Inside the interior is upgraded with soft touch points and high-quality materials. The Compass also receives a higher ride height and updates for improved off-road performance. When the Compass debuted as a 2007 model, it was aimed toward consumers who spend more time in an urban environment by combining the functionality of a sport-utility vehicle with the performance, handling, fuel economy and price of a compact car. With traditional Jeep styling, the original Compass featured a Jeep seven-slot grille, round headlights and trapezoidal wheel openings.
