IntroductionThe 1996 Jaguar XJS convertible is available in one model for its final year of production. Standard safety features include dual airbags, an anti-lock brake system (ABS) and 1997 side-impact protection. A 4.0-liter in-line 6-cylinder engine producing 237 horsepower, a 4-speed automatic transmission, limited-slip differential, independent suspension, and power steering are standard equipment. Other standard features include air conditioning, Connolly leather interior, walnut trim, a security system, power windows, a premium audio system and a central-locking system. Optional features include chromed wheels and a Sport Handling Package.
