Infiniti QX4

Infiniti entered the hot and very lucrative upscale sport-utility market with the introduction of the QX4 in 1997. The QX4 was based on a redesigned Nissan Pathfinder that debuted in early 1996, but had different front-end styling and an interior trimmed in leather and wood. For owners who wish to take the QX4 off-road, the vehicle has the same capabilities as the Pathfinder. The QX4 features an All-Mode 4WD system derived from Nissan's Japanese-market Skyline GT-R AWD sports coupe. Redesigned for the first time since coming to market, the 2001 QX4 went on sale in March 2000.
