The Genesis Coupe is a rear-wheel drive sport coupe that joins Hyundai’s expanding lineup as a 2010 model alongside the Genesis luxury sedan. The new Genesis Coupe is Hyundai’s most dynamic performance car to date with standard sport suspension and aggressive styling that includes sharply angled headlights and twisting lines below the beltline. Powered by either a 210-horsepower turbocharged four-cylinder or a 306-horsepower V6, the Genesis Coupe offers a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional automatics with manual-shift mode. “The mission for Genesis Coupe was to create a pure performance car with a design that would capture the imagination of hardcore automotive enthusiasts,” said Joel Piaskowski, chief designer at the Hyundai Design Center in Irvine, Calif.
