Introduction
The Ridgeline is Honda’s first pickup truck and unlike traditional full-size pickups, it does not have a separate cargo bed, but the passenger cab and the bed are integrated, giving the truck a distinctive look. Ridgeline uses a fully integrated closed box frame and unit body construction, and is rated for a half-ton (1,100-pound) bed capacity and 5,000-pound towing capacity. The Ridgeline also features four-wheel fully independent suspension and a fully automatic Variable Torque Management 4-Wheel-Drive System (VTM-4WD) that can transfer up to 70 percent of the available torque to the rear wheels.
