GMC Yukon Hybrid

The Yukon Hybrid is the hybrid version of GMC’s full-size SUV that joined the lineup for 2008. The Yukon was redesigned for 2007 with new exterior styling, sharper driving feel, more power, improved fuel economy, increased interior refinement and improved interior quietness. The Yukon Hybrid uses a two-mode hybrid system to improve gas mileage up to 50 percent in the city over the non-hybrid version, achieving an EPA rating of 21 mpg in the city and 22 on the highway. The system provides electric-only operation at low speed, early fuel cutoff during deceleration and combines electric power with the 6.0-liter V8 engine when needed for acceleration.
