Introduction

The 2006 Ford Freestar is Ford's front-wheel-drive minivan that debuted as a 2004 model to replace the Windstar. While the exterior styling of the Freestar is similar to the Windstar, the new minivan moves forward with advances in safety, interior design, fold-flat seating, and new engines.
