The Transit Connect is Ford’s new commercial vehicle, aimed to meet the needs of American small business owners with a spacious but fuel-efficient alternative to larger commercial vehicles. Imported from Ford’s European lineup, the Transit Connect is front-wheel drive and powered by Ford’s 2.0-liter Duratec with a 4-speed automatic. Transit Connect comes with two front doors, two sliding side doors and rear cargo doors that open 180 degrees and is available as a panel van with no glass in the side or rear doors, with glass in the rear doors and/or glass in the side doors. Transit Connect is available as a wagon, with side windows and a second-row bench seat with seating for two or three.
