The sportiest of Chrysler's LH sedans sports only one notable change for 1997: the 3.5-liter V6 is now available on the lower-level ESi model. Introduced in 1993, the Vision was one of the three original "cab forward" LH cars (along with Chrysler Concorde and Dodge Intrepid) that signaled the beginning of Chryslers latest comeback. Vision then became the first Chrysler product to offer the AutoStick transmission, which gives the driver the option of automatic gear selection or sequential manual operation. Created in 1987, Eagle is Chrysler's newest division. It targets import buyers, offering Vision as an alternative to imported sport sedans.
