The Charger is Dodge’s rear-wheel-drive sedan that was redesigned for 2011 with styling that is heavily influenced by the second-generation Charger from the 1960s. Updates include a new split crosshair grille, aluminum hood with scallops, large bodyside scallops reminiscent of Charger’s heritage and a new taillight design that includes 164 LEDs to form its signature graphic. When the Charger was reintroduced to the Dodge lineup for 2006, it brought back the familiar name of the Dodge high-performance coupe from the ‘70s. Designed to offer modern coupe styling but with the functionality of a 4-door, the Charger shares a platform with the popular Chrysler 300 and Dodge Magnum.
