The Chrysler 300 is Chrysler’s full-size sedan which was redesigned for 2011, the first update since it returned to a rear-wheel-drive platform for the 2005 model year with a bold new signature design. The 300C trim level draws its name from the Chrysler “letter series” cars of 50 years ago and is powered by the modern version of the legendary HEMI V8 engine. In 2012 an all-new high-performance 300C SRT8 was added to the 300 lineup, powered by a 6.4-liter 440-horsepower HEMI V8 engine and equipped with new fuel-saving technology expected to increase highway mileage by 25 percent.
