The S-10 is Chevrolet’s compact pickup that was in introduced 1982 as one of the first compact pickup trucks from a domestic manufacturer. In 1983 the extended cab and Insta-Trac 4-wheel-drive were added. The S-10 was redesigned in 1994 and a third door was added to extended cabs in 1996. Exterior and interior updates were done for 1998.
