The Avalanche is Chevrolet’s full-size 4-door pickup with a short bed that combines the attributes of an SUV and a pickup. The 2013 model year marks the final year of Avalanche production. The Convert-a-Cab System and Midgate allow the cargo area to expand into the passenger compartment when the rear passenger seat is folded flat. The Avalanche was redesigned for 2007 with improved aerodynamics and is built on GM's new full-size SUV platform featuring a new, fully boxed frame. The interior is refined and the Avalanche enhances its flexibility with more features. The Chevrolet Avalanche also comes standard with the OnStar advanced communication system.
