The LaCrosse is Buick’s premium midsize sedan that was redesigned for 2010. The LaCrosse replaced the Century and Regal in the Buick lineup for the 2005 model year. The LaCrosse features QuietTuning aimed at reducing unwanted noise and vibration levels throughout the entire body structure to provide best-in-class quietness. For 2008 Buick added the LaCrosse Super to the lineup that first debuted at the 2007 New York Auto Show. In 2012, Buick began offering as standard the 2.4-liter Ecotech 4-cylinder with eAssist "light electrification," which improved fuel economy 25 percent over the previous 2.4-liter engine. The OnStar advanced communication system is standard on the Buick LaCrosse.
