Called a Sports Activity Coupe by BMW, the BMW X6 is a crossover SUV touted as a synthesis of coupe-like agility with Sports Activity Vehicle versatility. With five doors and four seats, the X6 combines a coupe profile with a higher ride height and offers a surprising amount of cargo space. The X6 features the latest version of BMW’s intelligent xDrive all-wheel-drive system, with electronically controlled torque distribution between the front and rear axles. The X6 introduces Dynamic Performance Control — an innovative computer-controlled rear axle that varies torque distribution between the rear wheels and can multiply the torque to an individual wheel to help steer the vehicle.
