BMW ActiveHybrid 7

The BMW ActiveHybrid 7 is BMW’s luxury hybrid based on the 7-Series powered by a twin-turbocharged V8 engine combined with at 3-phase synchronous electric motor for a combined output of 455 horsepower and 515 lb-ft of torque. The power is delivered through an 8-speed automatic transmission with the electric motor positioned between the engine and the torque converter. According to BMW the ActiveHybrid 7 will accelerate to 60 mph in 4.7 seconds and fuel economy is 15 percent better than the 750i and 750Li and includes Auto Start Stop for maximum efficiency. The ActiveHybrid 7 includes aerodynamically-tuned 10-spoke 19-inch Aero wheels and is available in Bluewater Metallic exterior paint.
