The A4 is Audi’s near-luxury sedan that was redesigned for 2009. Introduced for the 1996 model year, the A4 has become the automaker's most popular model. When it was redesigned for the 2002 model year, the A4 received more powerful engines and additional interior space. The convertible became available for 2003. Restyled in the middle of the 2005 model year, the updated A4 was introduced as a 2006 model. For 2007 the A4 Cabriolet was redesigned with bold new styling, completely revised suspension system and an updated interior.
