The Virage is the newest Aston Martin sports car that joins the lineup between the DB9 and the DBS, combining outright sports car performance with luxury, comfort and refinement. The Virage capitalizes on the technology from the DBS and combines it with the comfort and refinement found in the DB9 and Rapide. Offered in both coupe and Volante (convertible) versions, the Virage is powered by a hand-built 6.0-liter V12 engine that produces 490 horsepower and 420 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mounted in a front mid-engine configuration to achieve a 50-50 weight distribution; power is delivered through a carbon-fiber prop shaft to the 6-speed automatic transmission mounted at the transaxle. The Virage will feature standard Carbon Ceramic Matrix brakes.
