Acura SLX

In 1996 Acura became the first imported luxury brand to offer a sport-utility vehicle, recognizing that luxury-car buyers suddenly were moving to this vehicle category in large numbers. While matching the comfort and convenience of any luxury car, the SLX boasts off-road abilities equaling the leaders in the sport-ute class. Other notable features are the vehicle's generous cargo space and towing capacity, shift-on-the-fly 4-wheel drive and standard anti-lock brakes. Last year, the SLX received new styling, a more powerful V6 engine and a new Torque-On-Demand 4-wheel drive system.
