The original FIAT Nuova 500 debuted after the Second World War and almost 4 million were produced between 1957 and 1975. The modern FIAT 500 is a small 4-passenger car powered by an all-new fuel-efficient 1.4-liter FIAT MultiAir engine and is equipped with Blue & Me Handsfree Communications technology, seven standard airbags and an available all-new 6-speed automatic transmission for the U.S. market. Since its initial launch in 2007, more than 500,000 FIAT 500 cars have been sold in more than 80 different countries.
