Pros:
Styling and performance, Caddies are all about it. Bose stereo is awesome. Car LOVES to stretch its legs, get up and go. Passing power, lots of headroom even with sunroof. Nimble around town, and very stable in the South Dakota snow and ice.
Cons:
Purchased in Nov 2009, and in just 9 months and 27,000 miles LOTS of repairs. Battery leaked (it is under the rear seat!) putting fumes into passenger compartment. Water pump failed, as did crankshaft position sensors(both). Left side half-shaft(transaxle) went bad, then the riight side one, both due to undiagnosed engine mount failures, one front, one rear. Steering column intermediate shaft started binding and was replaced. Then, our road trip to Canada was ruined by an exploding sunroof. That is correct, the sunroof EXPLODED!! $500 to replace that. All this with less than 70K Miles!! The old adage is true, "It's a great ride, but bring you wallet, 'cause you're going to need it"
Overall review:
Engine and transmission are basically disposable. Once they are used up, you cannot rebuild them, you have to buy new. Plus $1250 EACH for new front struts when they wear out. All struts wear out on every car, but $1250 each? Sheesh, it is no wonder Cadillacs do not hold their resale value like Lexus, Mercedes, etc.

Love my Caddy

Pros:
Very handsome car. I usually believe that cars are female but this one is all MALE. He has a lot of get up and go and I feel totally safe. The ride is like butter. The radio is awesome and I just love the over all car.
Cons:
My only dislikes are the fan is extremely loud and the center console makes noises. So I really don't have a complaint do I.
Overall review:
I bought this car used and plan on driving it into the ground. And I think I will be doing that in style.
