The car for someone who thinks with the left side of their brain. by An MSN Autos Consumer on 03/20/2013. Trim: 2001 Saab 9-3 SE 5-Door, Owned 9 years.
Pros: a bit of an eccentric vehicle with very quirky characteristics, great heated seats, lots of power, love the steering torque, all around pleasure to drive. handeling is awesome in the winter with 4 snow tires. feels very safe as it feels like the car is enveloped around you inside.
Cons: expensive service, parts and maintenance. Hard to find a mechanic to work on it. cramped engine compartment,
Overall review: overall, it is a fun to drive car, lots of character, way les boring than it's Asian rivals, but that does come with a price, so if you can find a good mechanic, don't mind shelling out extra for parts and labor and want to drive a car that not everyone has, then go for it. I should also mention I have had mine now for 8 years, and still a fine ride.

I love this car by Bill from Wichita on 03/15/2008. Trim: 2001 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible, Owned 7 years.
Pros: Everything. What sold me was sitting in it. The seats are very comfortable.
Cons: The SID, SAAB Information Display, is different from the one in the manual so I haven't figured out how to set the date yet.
Overall review: The first car since High School that I have said I love.

Loyal to SAAB by An MSN Autos Consumer on 08/23/2004. Trim: 2001 Saab 9-3 SE Convertible, Owned 3 years.
Pros: Power, handling, style, good trunk space for a small convertible.
Cons: With top up there is a whistle at 65mph plus with a cross or head wind. It is created by the wind hitting the seam between the windshield and the convertible top. The LED display screen has rows of illumination that go on and off depending on temperature in and out of vehicle.
Overall review: It's my second 9-3 and I may get a third next year.
