Sport sedan with class! by matt on 06/30/2013. Trim: 2001 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C320, Owned 1 year.
Pros: Amazing that after 12 years this car still gets the looks. The 320 engine is strong and powerful. Still gets excellent gas mileage. Drives with the "vault like" solid ride found in all Mercedes. The interior is of highest quality with leather and walnut accents. Bose stereo system is excellent. Still looks as if it were new.
Cons: Only con is the rear sunshade mafunctions occassionally. Don't really use it anyway. Can get it replaced for $1200 but will probably not worry about that.
Overall review: Like I said, still get the looks with the beautiful Desert Silver exterior and Java 2 tone interior. I sprung for the chromed version of the AMG wheels and definitely accents the car. Bought her as my road trip car from Indiana to Florida and with only 40,000 miles on her there are many more road trips. They make excellent long distance cars with excellent highway fuel economy and very comfortable ride. I would definitely recommend the C320 over the C240 due to the excellent engine and power with about the same gas mileage. If you drive it slower on the highway 70-75mph (which is hard to do!) you will get 30mpg! Crazy mileage for such a powerful engine.

Precise Handling, Decisive Power and Inspired design by Dark Watch Asia/PAC on 11/18/2011. Trim: 2001 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C320, Owned 4 years.
Pros: a 3200 cc engine is just right for the size, so the handling and acceleration characteristics are very good. The air conditioner is very powerful and the interior is isolated from the environment enough to keep the driver and passenger in quiet unimposing comfort. I think the design is very current, and for whatever that's worth it still looks more similar to the current model than competitor cars of the same year. Outside of regular maintenance, the car has been service free. Gas mileage is surprisingly economical for such a large engine. My model is C320 AMG from the factory and I look forward to driving it everyday.
Cons: I think MB paint jobs fall behind BMW in depth and gloss.I have replaced my gas pump with upgrades for hi-gravity turns.
Overall review: Mine came with the AMG Sports Package The look is sublime and concise. Good acceleration in Drive, great hand shifting, With McPherson struts and Adjustable Konis the mountain pass handling is precise and commanding. The body sustains sub-tropic humidity and acidic rain as long as you care for it. I have a Polymer Sealant applied and it looks fresh after 10 years. Its reliable and comfortable, sized for tight traffic yet with excellent stability on very tight curves at high speeds. Transmission is absolutely great on steep downhill driving. I am lucky that my tech and repair guy is the best in the region. I know this makes a huge difference.

Nice but Poor Quality by CAM from Lancaster, PA on 05/18/2004. Trim: 2001 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C320, Owned 4 years.
Pros: Nice design, fast and fun to drive.
Cons: Too many problems, keyless entry problems, ESP problems, fuel pump problems, has left me set several times. This was my third and last MB. Does not hold its value.
Overall review: When it runs it is a fast, comfortable car with nice styling. There are just too many problems with the car and I expected better from MB.
