Smooth with more power to go in excess of 150 MPH on the I-5
Cons:
Stereo, lifetime of tires

Porsche--blown engine in under 40,000 miles

Pros:
Looks great--drives well
Cons:
Engine blew with 37,000 miles on the car . The car had all work done at the dealer. It was never driven hard or fast. Porsche would not reimburse one penny for repairs despite the fact it was still in warranty by mileage because it was not by age. Over 15 thousand to repair. I have heard other horror stories with this car

Pros:
still get thrilled every time i get behind the wheel , have had many fast performance cars but nothing compares to this , have owned it now for 3 years a true race car
Cons:
getting in and out might be the only con but other than that NOTHING

Pros:
Fantastic car Puts a smile on my face every day!
Cons:
Radio reception SUCKS they need a better antena. Radio itself is ok. 2002 gets the glove box and glass rear window with defroster i might trade in!

Best car I ever owned! Daily driver all year! I can pass Jeeps in the snow!!!!! Until it gets deep ;(

Best -balanced sports car

Pros:
Great sports car feel, strong acceleration, fantastic brakes. The Lapis blue metallic literally glows day or night-a real attention getter. CD player and radio worked great without being an overkill, although the instruction booklet sucks.
Cons:
The optional 18 inch Pirelli P-zeros wear down very fast. Replace them with the new "Rosso" version to get better wear (or switch to Dunlops). Not enough space (passenger or storage) inside the cabin.
Overall review:
If you plan to spend $100,000 or less on a sports car that can do 0-60 in 5 seconds or less, you are looking at the 911, the Corvette, and the Viper. The Corvette is heavy and ponderous by comparison, but the Z06 engine is fantastic. The Chevy 6-speed, however, is no comparison to Porsche's. The Viper is the most powerful of the bunch, but the engine feels like it has been taken out of a monster truck. The body also groan and moan in switch back turns. The level of refinement attained in the 911 C4 does not have an equal in american makes. Pay the higher price and be happy.
