one tough truck

Pros:
tons of powerin 8100. 135000 miles not 1 major problem. i tow 24ft enclosed trailer about 50% of the time load full of construction equipment. so it has to work hard most of the time.
Cons:
burns a little oil from day one but what do you expect with a 496 the pistons are huge. don't like the cup holders bad spot. and engine has had an occasional knock but so does my 5.3 and it hasn't effected me from getting 135000 hard miles out of it. needed 285's for tires

great truck does everything i ask it to do and keeps wanting more

Pretty good work truck

Pros:
The engine (8.1L) has the power to do any job asked of it.
Cons:
Tranmission (Alision 5-speed) doesn't like the cold weather.

It is much faster than f350 power is intense felt bad for guy with babe that wanted me to race his new truck after 75 he was all done

The Chevy dealer can,t even find out why it will not start and it been
not starting off and on for four years!!! The dealer replace,s part,s and I pay out the nose.
