Great Family Truck

Pros:
It is very easy to drive with adequate handling ability and great acceleration for a truck. I have a V5.8 motor and I still get 18 to 20 hwy mpg. The truck is roomy enough for four adults and two children to ride comfortably. I have only had to replace the brakes and plugs once, and have had to replace one of the brake lines due to rust. Overall it has required minimal maintenance.
Cons:
The tailgate straps broke in 2007, and the tailgate latch broke last year. The gas hand stopped working correctly in 2004, and I know three others' who had the same problem with the 2001 models.
Overall review:
When I bought this truck it had 19,000. miles on it. I have put 160,000 miles on it with only minimal maitenance and It still is a nice comfortable ride. It has only a few small rust spots popping up on the back quarter panels that can still be easily repaired.

Runs good, nice looking
Cons:
Tranny slipped out and in 2 times before it had 20k miles on it, so I sold it. Leather seats seem cheap.

nice truck, but worry about tranny.

2001 Chevys

Pros:
Has excellent frame and comforts to vehicle more leg room than a regular ext. cab extremly long lasting pickup both of my models have over 200,000 miles
Cons:
Needs more power and the gas peddle sticks on both of my 2001 models
Overall review:
Heck of a truck just needed to have the 6.0 engines in my trucks but over all a heck of a pick-up

Pros:
Power, looks, dependability. This is the best truck I have ever owned. Lots of power to help out in difficult situations.
I would recommend the Silverado to anyone.
Cons:
Not a thing. Great truck
